Consolidated Home Health is Hiring a Pediatric Home Health Nurse Near Pasadena, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete tasks and provide skilled care in a safe manner as order in the Plan of Care and additional physician orders.
  • Electronically document treatments, medication administration, and assessments during shift.
  • Continually evaluate client progress and communicate appropriately with the supervising nurse and or MD.
  • Identify client needs and communicate necessary changes in care to RN supervisor.
  • Provide instruction and teaching to patient/ caregiver regarding procedures, medications, and disease process.
  • Maintain professional ethics, confidentiality, and privacy of patients.
  • Report changes in condition and any relevant information to nurse supervisor and or physician.

EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current license in good standing as an LVN, LPN, or RN in good standing that allows you to practice nursing in the State of Texas. (Either a Texas lisc or compact state)
  • Must demonstrate the ability to independently perform assessments and tasks within your scope of practice utilizing good critical thinking, judgment, effective communication, and compassion.
